Athiya Shetty, the Bollywood actress, and KL Rahul, the Indian cricketer, have recently tied the knot in a private ceremony. The wedding was attended only by the closest family and friends of the Shettys. Suniel Shetty, Athiya's father, confirmed the news to the media and stated that the ceremony was beautiful and went well. He also mentioned that there will be a wedding reception planned after the IPL season concludes. Suniel and his son Ahan were seen exiting the wedding venue, their home in Khandala, and distributing sweets to the media who were present at the location. Suniel also jokingly stated that he would like to dispense with the "father-in-law" title and just be referred to as "father" as he takes on the responsibility well.
